#EMPIRE OF THE HAND FREE#
Allow a free press - Minor weakness to enemy spies. Easier for advisors to hide stuff from you. Streamline Bureaucracy - Turn length changes to 4 months, income falls accordingly. Decentralize Military, Diplomacy, Learning, Stewardship But I'm fine with our advisors choosing the actions as long as We keep the structure as is and dont streamline it, So we can make sure they're doing what they said they are.īasically in my mind If we Decentralize we shouldn't Streamline things, But if we centeralize we could streamline things. Probably not the Best plan, we probably want to keep some departments centralized. Create state-owned enterprises -20% tax income, background improvements to your empire. These actions are controlled by your advisors, not you. +2 advisor actions to all categories but Personal.
Decentralize Power -1 action to all categories but Personal. Deligating some stuff, but make sure they're doing what they say they are. Also increases citizen happiness, which is a plus. Personally, I favor the second option, since it balances security with not being fascist jerks. Do we want them as friends or enemies? The closer we want to be, the freer our presses. It really depends on how we want to relate to the Republic. Tax decrease is lessened and we can focus in turn on lower-infrastructure worlds. I'd like to encourage private industey, see how that goes. I'd like to do that gradually, so I prefer streamlining to 4-month turns (three turns per year).įor economics, a major flaw of the Empire was keeping things so heavily controlled. From a RP perspective, keeping Military and Intrigue centralized while decentralizing the other categories seems to fit Thrawn's character best, as he likes to maintaij direct control over military and intelligence issues while keeping subordinates in charge of the others.įor bureaucracy, shorter turn lengths = more actions, accomplishing long-term projects faster.
From what I can see, decentralization reduces thread control of actions, but in turn gives us more actions controlled by the GM/advisors.
